Sunday 24 November - Barossa Results
The Barossa club game was played on Sunday, 24th November at the Barossa golf club. The game was attended by 15 members and 1 guest player.Tee off took place at 10.15 am. The weather was warm and cloudy.The course was in good condition with long fairways and dry and sandy off the fairway. Plenty of trees and large greens. The greens were slow and some had trouble on the slow greens. The other problem was flies affecting the game. One smart golfer had a fishing net over his face to avoid the flies and played well.
Winner was Jack on a record breaking 44 points.His first win since joining the club.Second was Jasminder on 38points from Felix on 37 points. Felix on the 17th hole, 212 metres was on and had a long putt birdie. Lionel was 4th on 37points from Josh also on 37 points.
Prize giving took place in the Club house.Thank you to all the regular members turning out to play.
